We flew out to JFK from London for New Years but in Premium Economy and I couldn’t have been more happy (unless they had bumped us up to first class! Ha). Glad to know we made the right decision 🙂

I booked through Delta but my flight from Atlanta to Heathrow is on Virgin Atlantic. I did go ahead and pay to select my seat (exit row) so hopefully that will help…please tell me that will help!

Yay delta points! Service is amazing, food is great and a full duvet and bed like contraption to sleep on. The problem is once you fly the high life, going back is hard. I flew home to Savannah via delta for Christmas as it was awful. Plane was dirty, seat was uncomfortable and the food not edible. Couldn’t wait for my benedryl to kick in! Agree the boarding process in UK is a circus.

I have to say though, we always flying Premium Economy in both now and haven’t flown regular Economy since we flew to LA in 2015 – 10 hours of that cramped flight and I swore ‘never again!’ hehe. I’d rather save for longer to pay for it, than endure…

I’ve never flown Virgin Upper Class but have flown BA’s equivalent (Club) a couple of times, it’s as you might imagine – fab! And very hard to go back to regular seating in future 😉
