It’s interesting to get a visitor’s view on my home town Kingston. I must check out Warren House as your pictures look great. The Dorchester and the Athenaeum also do a great afternoon tea. I would recommend the Dorchester in particular!

What a lovely place to spend a few days! The gardens and grounds were impeccably kept and the room looks fit for a princess. I’ve had my share of Teas, and that one looked pretty darn scrumptious! Thanks for sharing your pics!

In reply to jo. Hello! I don't believe it was a part of my tea. However, I would suggest calling and letting them know you were excited about it. The service was exceptional, so you never know what they could do with advance notice for your birthday. My birthday is Sunday so happy to see we are both a Taurus! Thanks for this review – it is helpful as we’re (probably) going to Warren House for my birthday on Thursday – so no blueberry and lemon battenburg cake? (It lists that on afternoontea.co.uk) – that was what swung it for me initially, so I’ve been looking for reviews! The grounds look fabulous too – we’ll definitely be wandering around there!

What a lovely break! It's so sweet of them to have picked you up when you rang for directions and the desserts in the tea are beautiful and very tempting
