What to Pack for London- A Guy’s Guide
If you’re a guy, figuring out what to pack for London might not be easy. There seems to be tons of YouTube videos for chicks sharing their outfit of the day and other apparel ideas. However, for guys it is limited.
You don’t see many fashion features on Sunny in London. It’s not because I don’t care about dressing nice. I just think those types of blog posts do better when they’re written by 20-something bloggers who are trying to be on magazine covers. Just being honest. Sharing advice about the American expat experience in London or tips on visiting London seems to be far more useful to my readers.
But- when the Sunny News YouTube video on Advice for Visiting London Pubs prompted someone to inquire about general fashion tips for American guys heading across the pond, I jumped on the opportunity. Naturally, I had help from Mr. Sunny, which is actually really funny.
It provides humor because if you’ve watched the one and only video we did together (The Best Places to Propose in London), you’ll see that we like wearing our funny t-shirts that my sister’s company With Luv Design sends us. (Find a promo code in the sidebar for 10% off orders over $25)
That being considered, we both know what does and more importantly does not look right.
What to Pack for London:
Watch this video to see a list of things you do not want to pack for London, or much less wear anywhere. It covers English stereotypes that you might think are cool but really need to avoid. You’ll also find valuable tips at the end including colors to pack, a men’s brand to guide your selections and other important bits of clothing advice.
The Sunny News YouTube channel, shares even more advice for things to do and what you’ll need to know about London. This includes safety tips, American vs British Cultural Differences, Tube Tips, and a shopping guide. The blog also has a Guide for Americans Visiting London which is a collection of the top experiences I recommend. You’ll definitely want to bookmark it and visit the Pinterest boards created to help trip planning too.
