Things to Do in London in February

This month might not have the dazzle of Christmas or long daylight hours of summer, but there are still tons of things to do in February in London. After living here since 2013, I’ve learned to appreciate this quieter month. February is the perfect time to explore without the usual crowds. Well, at least with the exception of half term from 17th-21st February 2025.

Since the weather is still grey, I tend to recommend more indoor activities to people who want to enjoy visiting London.

This year, I’m especially excited about the stars taking the stage. Cate Blanchett, Emma Corrin and Tom Hiddleston are all set to perform in London this February.

Beyond theatre, there are candlelight concerts, immersive exhibitions and plenty of cosy spots to escape the cold. A pub crawl or a day wandering through Greenwich, Notting Hill or Leadenhall Market makes for a great date weekend. Whether you’re visiting or a local looking for new ideas, I’ve put together a list of activities for how to make the most of February in London.

Also if you’re finished with Dry January, you can enjoy a glass of bubbles along with your afternoon tea. It’s a delicious way to brighten a rainy day.
